Simply put, I'm one of many; an artist. I live in a small town in southern Indiana. I've been painting since a young age - around eight, I suppose.
Although my beginning medium of oil painting was a pleasant experience, I've drifted far away from realism. I've always been quite fond of those who can truly capture an image with impressing realism, but that's simply not me.
Artistic mediums have ranged widely from oil to acrylics, watercolor, digital illustration, charcoal, and so on. I've touched on many, but the mainstay has always been acrylics. See my online portfolio by visiting this link.
So then, what is my style? Hmmm... The easiest way for me to describe my own work is that it is motivated entirely by mood. Sometimes it's happy, and sometimes it's not quite... well, happy. Mood determines the piece, the content, the medium, the everything.
In a nutshell - there you have it. In the end, I'd suppose I'm just me, Joseph.

Printed pieces...
I've had several printed pieces. I've performed a lot of work for a Hallmark subsidiary - Sunrise Greetings.
Work has included tons of print design (which I won't bother showing, as this site isn't about print design,) and some illustration - both traditional and digital.
In terms of finding cards that I've worked on, your best bet would be looking at your local Barnes and Noble, as they are a long time customer for Sunrise Greetings.
Web design and digital illustration...
Web design has been another passion for several years now. I've become very familiar with HTML, PHP, SQL, CSS, etc... The world of web design is seemingly ever changing, and that never stops.
My web design portfolio consists of this site, as well as sunrisegreetings.com, and the sister site - weinerdog.com, both include some digital illustration rendered by myself. Occasionally, I do some other web design, and if possible, those sites will be added. However, In some cases, this isn't possible - as the work often includes password protected areas, and sensative data. However, check out the sites listed if you'd like.
On that note, if you're interested in having some web design performed for your own site, feel free to contact me.
